quick question, if someone invites me to go grab a coffee with them but i’m not carrying any money with me so i say “ugh im sorry i’m not carrying any money with me atm” but they’re like “oh don’t worry i’m inviting” should i accept or decline the offer? maybe it sounds like a stupid question but i feel like sometimes people offer you things just to be nice but they’re actually expecting you to decline the offer? idk what do people usually do?

lol but it happened to me once when i was not carrying any that’s why i started overthinking what if i’m in this situation again? bc i don’t always take money with me when i’m just going out for a walk or coming back from university. Like i don’t expect these things to happen yk. But ur right i should always carry extra money with me
That depends how well you know that person.
If you know that person pretty well, then you may consider going however if not, you may consider not going out for it.

Well, i can’t say that you must do this.
As i am a male, if i were invited like this, i would not go even if we were friends in the past.
Now the questions arises of it is a male or female.
If male, you may consider as males don’t expect females to pay however this statement is not absolute.
But if it’s a female then i let it to your discretion as i can’t say anything about females.
