People have been making me feel like a slut for this but i seriously wanna know if am in the wrong or it’s just society blaming the girl as always , there’s this guy who likes me and my friend came and told me about it , a few weeks back that guy texted me and we started talking, this whole time i knew that he liked me but I couldn’t say anything because then my friend was gonna be in trouble, fast forward to yesterday he confessed and i told him that i knew about his feelings all along, he said he knew about me knowing which am not surprised about as i am a obvious person, i asked him if he was okay and if he wanted to continue to be my friend or if he wants to stop talking or keep his distance, i was okay with anything because here it was about his feelings more than mine and i liked having him as a friend.
Now the problem is , almost all my close friends are being like “you are playing with his feelings by talking to him” , “you shouldn’t give him false hopes, you’ll break his heart”
See , i get it but if he doesn’t mind being friends then why would i…? People have been saying that am just doing it for attention and I don’t like him and that am just playing with his feelings
I have cleared myself to him about my feelings and i asked about what he wants to do
If tomorrow he says that being friends with me is hurting him then I won’t force him to be friends with me , I’ll simply let him choose himself
Let your friends tell whatever they wanna say… but you make sure that you both are on clear terms of friendship and nothing more than that. Make it clear as water so that he won’t have the false hopes and won’t get hurt.
Also i would suggest you to be friends like need to know basis not more than that so it would be easier for you guys.
Well you are wrong and you have made the things clear with the person which matters the most so don’t worry about others thinking about you coz people are gonna think what they want to think we can stop them so just be clear with yourself and the person that’s it.

You should probably stop talking to people who like you if you cannot reciprocate their feelings , if you talk to them as a friend it will give them hope that someday you will date them , It’s just better for you and your future bf.
