People can poison you with their idea of what you should be. If you don’t meet up to their expectations and often times their expectations of you are just to reaffirm themselves. They want you to love them, them want you to tell them how awesome they are and if you don’t feel that way then you are cold, there is something wrong with you because they don’t have autonomy, they can’t exist independently.
