People around me are not supportive at all. They always pass comments on me like I’m very naive and dumb. I have worked really hard to be where I’m today and looking at the current situation of people around me I’m doing better than most of them academically yet they always make me realize that I’m not good enough. I mind my own business around them and I never question their abilities but they always pass comments on me like I know nothing. This has started to affect me so much that I’m losing my self confidence. I just wish that people around me were a bit supportive and appreciative of my work but unfortunately it’s the other way around.
I can understand. But if we look around, there is always competition. Everyone wants to be the best at everything and society has made us like that. But out of all those people, you should know that you’re here only because of your hardwork, ability, strength and talents. No matter how much u work, it’s never enough for the society. So don’t mind what they say! We deserve to be in a positive environment. So, my advice to you is to not give a damn about those people who put you down.
