Simple. If you can’t change the habits, just replace it with another one. It can be a hobby, it can be a person you like to talk with, focus on your studies or work for distraction.
Personally I take that pain as fuel to ignore my hunger to work hard and success. Don’t let your mind become free enough to think about that person.
Who don’t give a f**k about how are you, why waste your time thinking about them ☺️
It will feel tough until you think, it will be easy once you start doing that 🤗
