Okay so this is somethig I’ve been wondering about for a while. So my father is a police sergeant. And I know that sergeants in my country make alot of money because they are above the normal police officers. My parents aren’t divorced, but split. But that’s besides the point. The thing is, I’m not sure what to believe. So straight to the point. When I ask my father for things like money for stuff like groceries or stuff that I need for personal hygiene, he always says that he doesn’t have money for it. Even though I’m his only child that is under the age of 18 and is still in school. The rest of my siblings are adults and provide for themselves. I don’t even beg him for things that I want, but rather what I need. I even ask him for small money for groceries which isn’t even enough and he always never has. Around christmas time he had asked me what I want for christmas and everything that I suggested, he said he had no money for it. I even asked him for a few clothing since the majority of my clothes are from since I was like 7 or 8 and I’m now in my mid teens and is in need of clothes. He said he cant give me it. Its crazy because he paid for a house worth half a million dollars in 3 months and can’t give me money for things to eat. My mother doesn’t have a job and only relies on making clothes for people to make money, and because of the virus, her business with making clothes isn’t doing so well so she has to rely on other options. But the money she’s making right now isn’t enough for the both of us. Does anyone have suggestions as to why this is happening? I don’t mind you being honest either.
