Okay so this is somethig Iβve been wondering about for a while. So my father is a police sergeant. And I know that sergeants in my country make alot of money because they are above the normal police officers. My parents arenβt divorced, but split. But thatβs besides the point. The thing is, Iβm not sure what to believe. So straight to the point. When I ask my father for things like money for stuff like groceries or stuff that I need for personal hygiene, he always says that he doesnβt have money for it. Even though Iβm his only child that is under the age of 18 and is still in school. The rest of my siblings are adults and provide for themselves. I donβt even beg him for things that I want, but rather what I need. I even ask him for small money for groceries which isnβt even enough and he always never has. Around christmas time he had asked me what I want for christmas and everything that I suggested, he said he had no money for it. I even asked him for a few clothing since the majority of my clothes are from since I was like 7 or 8 and Iβm now in my mid teens and is in need of clothes. He said he cant give me it. Its crazy because he paid for a house worth half a million dollars in 3 months and canβt give me money for things to eat. My mother doesnβt have a job and only relies on making clothes for people to make money, and because of the virus, her business with making clothes isnβt doing so well so she has to rely on other options. But the money sheβs making right now isnβt enough for the both of us. Does anyone have suggestions as to why this is happening? I donβt mind you being honest either.
