Okay so here’s the thing.
What if your husband doesn’t want you to work affer marriage? Not because he wants to opress you or something but because he is doing it out of good intentions? I’m a feminist myself but I also cannot deny the fact that it’s man’s world. It is easier to stay at home than to go out and work…so what if your husband really wants to protect you and pamper you and doesn’t want you to be working…does that make him conservative? Is it wrong to ask your wife to stay at home?
Being a homemaker is not at all easier than being a working woman.if you are sure that your husband has no misogynistic thinking behind asking you to stay at home then you can try it for a few months,if you don’t like it you can again get back on track,but before leaving your job let your husband know that he would have to afford your personal expenses too and he won’t be allowed to complain and obviously he or no one would be allowed to treat you in a low way just because you don’t earn anymore. In the end it should be your decision free from pressure of anyone.
You shudnt ask anyone to stay at home… It shud be his or her decision… If the girl feels she shudnt go out n work and has to quit the job then its her decision… Watever decision u take must be mutual… And not forced upon… The important question is do u want to work after marriage… If yes and the husband is saying no then better rethink about marrying that guy… Coz i have seen so many homemaker moms regretting not going for work… Many says that for their children they left their work…its difficult to manage all but if the hus is supportive and ready to share the duties then i guess all is well
