Hey, 12 Steps program can cure any addiction. I’d recommend you to join, study, or practice the instructions of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).

If you can’t join them now, simply download and print the worksheets (Step 4 & 10). Take a pen and a paper and do the following:

1. Do Step 4 once. Just go do it. What do you have to lose?
2. Do Step 10 every day without exceptions.
3. Pray daily and meditate.

Now you need a pep talk !!!

Sometimes it’s time to rest and recalibrate. Forget your story for a moment. Get in touch with yourself. Forget the world for a while.

Start looking at addiction to alcoholism as a disease. But after that see it as a gateway to reach peace and happiness. It’s not the alcohol which makes you happy. Alcoholic numbs the low energy feelings and thoughts in you. When it does you as a consequence you experience the higher levels of Consciousness. There is a direct way to Happiness, and it doesn’t require alcohols or drugs. Don’t be ashamed of your addiction, it’s a mechanism and a great gift of life. It has made you seek for the innate joy and peace that is your nature. Only those who have a glimpse will seek it. Try the 12 steps. Live your life as a prayer and I’d suggest to live a spiritual life. It’s about developing an attitude, or orienting yourself to life affirming principles. By becoming loving, compassionate, forgiving, kind, and having goodwill for all including yourself.

Overall let go of the pleasure of experiencing the experience of whatever is negative or addictive.

Does this make sense? I am here for you if you want to talk more.
