My parents wanted me to study and do well in life, although they paid my fees, they neglected me, expected me to help at home and I lived with them in a very tense situation (my parents fought over money, dispute with builder regarding our house). Whereas my brother moved another city to study and did quite well. Now my parents are happy as my brother provides them well whereas I can’t do much as my salary isn’t half of what my brother gets.
I feel sad that lost best years of my life and now I can never be as successful as my brother and provide my parents and will get the same respect he does. I was never loved and now I’ll never be respected.
