Pursue your dreams. At the end of the day, it is your life. Fight with your parents if it comes to that but do what you want.
My parents wanted me to do engineering, i didn’t, I’m doing what I like and wanted to do instead, and I’ve heard it all, i have no future, I’ll have no money, no one will want to marry me, teacher banna hai kya, from both parents and relatives. But more than all that i matter more.
It is your entire life you’re thinking about, do you want to be stuck with something you don’t like? Try to talk to your parents, tell your perspective and if not both, try to switch one parent to your side.
