Sharing Our Innermost Thoughts

My grandpa - mom’s side - passed away 4 months ago. Today while we were eating, we were discussing about the family gathering happening next week and what we should bring with us… etc. dad told my mom “ ooh it’s the first family gathering without your dad” and giggled. I know he didn’t mean to say it in harmful way but I hated him for that, because my mom start crying.
