Hey. I think you can try and tell your family that baground is not everything. People from the toughest bagrounds make it big in life, It is who you are as a person that matters most in the long run. If the guy is willing to work hard and make it big, and has dreams there should not be an issue. Try talking to your family. Why don’t you arrange a luncheon between your family and the guy. They can get to know him better.
