My brother is 13 and i want to tell him about periods, basically to normalise them and make him realise it's not a taboo topic or anything. Is he too young though? Should I wait for a couple more years?

Context: I'm on my period and my grandmother was going off about how I'm "impure" and shouldn't enter the kitchen and my brother now thinks I'm cursed😂

This is honestly so nice😭. I agree and this is exactly why I want to tell him so that he can understand that woman are not impure or cursed when they have their periods

Period

Shivering while typing this. This incident happened to me (I am male) and my cousin (female) quite back in our childhood, happened multiple times and have never spoke about it untill now. And, yeah, we both were sexually assaulted by our elder brother, in different occasions, while we were in asleep. That bastard thought that doing things etc to us he would not know, but yes it happened to me multipletimes, and my cousin too which is even more traumatic to her. i have realised in the recent past that what happened to me was wrog and i was denying and did not care about this, and recently two days ago my cousin confessed about it and i went numb. i just dont know what else to say, it is disgusting that that person is leading a happy and dignified life and we are suffering here, and this happened in family, now i see a root cause to all our mental problems, i just dk im so sorry if anyone has become uncomfy just wanted to let it out. thank you for ur love and support.

Harassment

When I was 13 years old I was sexually harrassed by a guy who was 4-5 years older than me he touched my private part whenever he got a chance to sit with me in school bus he lived in the same building as me so wehad the same stop. So I used to ran away as fast as I can towards my house whenever I got down from the bus. After a month or two when it started happening my bus was changed it was a relief for me in bus but whenever o saw him outside my house I freaked out so I never went out and due to that me and my friends got distant and I had no friends near my place and due to that I don't mix up with people much and I never told my parents about it because I was scared I don't know of what but I was scared after a year his family shifted to another place and I finally stopped worrying about him touching me again but there was always something bothering me and in my school I hardly ever saw him because he was my senior. I am 21 years old now and I never told my parents about it. Sometimes I have a break down thinking about it and thinking about how many people he would have done the same I wished I took a step at that time so that someone taught him a lesson. This is the first time I am opening up about this. Should I tell my parents now? Is it okay to open up now? And is it okay for me to go to a therapist?

Insecurity

Please help I was sexually assaulted by my friends relatives and I don't know what to do I'm too scared to tell anyone but this was 3 months ago and I'm afraid it's too late to get help someone please respond

Anxiety

I don't know why I am sharing this but I feel like I have kept this to myself for too long and I can't hold it in anymore, this is part of my life...I've never told anyone this before so, yeah.

When I was around 7 my brother started sexually harassing me and my sisters soon that turned into rape. I was very young so I didn't really think anything about it but I still felt something was wrong with it. He continued to rape and sexually harass me and my sisters until he got a scholarship and moved to board school. After a year there he said he had changed but that summer...he harassed and raped my twin sister. Finally, in 2018-2019 my twin sister built up enough courage and told my mom. (around a month before we turned 11)  When my mom figured it out it seemed like she had no reaction so I don't know exactly how she felt. My brother apologized to me and my sisters when I was around 11 and even though I want to believe him...it still feels like there's a possibility he will do it again.

I'm now 12, my family has moved to 6 different houses, and me and my sister to 7 different schools- we are now currently homeschooled and barely allowed outside. My first ever pet died on Saturday my brother has one year left in the boarding school and is coming back to live at my mom's house, CPS has been called on my family three times and I don't have any friends. My older sister constantly body shames me, my twin has started to develop suicidal thoughts and my mom has developed compulsive hoarding. My family now has mandatory family counseling. 

And my father? I haven't seen him in 1/2 months and barely see him 10 days a year.

How am I supposed to get through this?

was sitting in a family dinner thing .. my little cousin brother plays a online game god knows what it has something to do with the world chat people around the world we can talk to .. so my father was just peeping into his game... and suddenly my brother gets a messseg i love you from I don't know who it was  ... after a couple of minitues when the dinner was finally served on the table .. my father giggles to my uncle and uncle made a word actually not a word .. i was out the conversation listening to all but not a word from mouth... my uncle asked my brother you received I love you .. wow and laughed ... my father be like in a simple funny tone was it from the girl or the boy .. my little brother with no talking sense girls never propose guys .. my uncle in a second oh so it was boy ain't it? .. and my father giving it a laugh actually everyone around there .. and then my uncle just said.. if it was a boy who proposed you then u mother and father is going to slap u .. and gonna take you to the hospital .. i mean what narrow minded people my family is .. my brother being so innocent .. and whats wrong with people falling in love with the same gender ? i mean it not a crime ain't it ? and its our feeling .. I am not the one of them but I do support and appreciate them they are not wrong its the way they were made .. i hope people with get through the mentality soon loving the same gender is not wrong !!
