So I have a friend who i think is kinda pulling me backwards. As much as i remember, i started doing really bad at academics after being best friends with her (i am not blaming this to her completely i know it's my fault too). I kinda adapted her mindset i guess. She is a really negative person. Earlier i used to have a goal like i wanted to be a doctor when i grow up (because of my parents) and when I told her, she was like " these jobs boring! " , "Study isn't going to take us anywhere" and i think i kinda melted into this mindset and also lemme tell you that she was never good at academics and not even now! She would laugh at literally everything  you do. To her, everything is embarrassing! She has always been insecure which has affected me too! She has never said anything bad about my apperance tho but she has always said ugly things about herself which has really affected me (now i am so insecure that i am even afraid to take my mask off) she has always been picky about choosing a boy. She would always make fun about someone even if the person is perfect. She would find something to make fun of. And I feel like i have been like her too. She has never apologized to anyone ever even if it's her fault. Never ever  and she won't even listen to you if you give her some advice. I want to be more confident leaving her behind. I don't want to ruin our friendship. What should I do???
