I just really want a hug. I’ve wanted one for a while now, actually. I just want someone to wrap their arms around me and tell me that it’s gonna be okay. I want their embrace to be one that I find safety in, one that I can cry into. A long hug that makes you feel okay again. I want them to run their fingers through my hair and rub circles onto my back. I want them to hold me until I let go. I want so badly just to hug someone right now. I can't help feeling like a burden like no one cares, that I'm just gonna be left by everyone I meet, that I don't matter. I just want to feel okay again. It’s like my body isn’t mine anymore. All of my memories and experiences don’t feel like they’re mine, I feel like an imposter living my life. Like I’m watching through a screen. I’ve been so detached from everything but then small things pull me back but then I’ve pushed away again, like waves. I always compare my mental health to water, for some reason. It’s always calm waters or a current so rough you’ll drown at the thought of venturing in. Drowning. I’m drowning. The gasps of air I get are far and few between, and it’s not enough anymore. I suppose the way I’ve learned to cope is to shut down or force myself to forget mass amounts of my life. All of my memories are fuzzy now, it takes so much work to remember the simplest things even if they happened only a month ago. I’m sorry. 
I literally cause every damn problem I wish I just kept my mouth shut.
