Hey! The sign of a healthy relationship is to be able to communicate concerns without much thinking. Approach the subject in a neutral manner and let him know that both of you should start dutching or probably do alternate payments. While it can be weird to have this conversation, it is advisable to be clear about one’s concerns in the relationship.

2 questions:
1. Does he come from a poor family but otherwise a good boyfriend. In such a scenario consider this because not many people will have the maturity to see this let alone advise you so… sometimes in life if we make little sacrifices which can be easily justified and taken care of them we shud do it. For it is nothing in comparison to the value we get in return. Just a small compromise, isn’t it?
2. Is he financially well off but is leeching on you… in that case dear friend take him to a highfi club or something enjoy ur time there and somehow leave discreetly without telling him before paying the bills. Let him deal with it let’s see how he treats you after that… you sound smart you know how to steer this relationship from here on. Just a hypothetical situational advice … to let you see the situation more clearly.
