My boyfriend had anger issues so I used to remodify things and tell him, sometimes used to lie even so that he doesn’t yell at me. These lies were about what I ate or how long I talked to my female best friend. Later his yelling habbit turned into abuse, he blamed me for his behaviour and said if I never lied it would have never happened, but I doubt that coz he had anger issues from the start. This verbal abuse continued for 5 months until I decided to finally break up. I started to move on but 2 months later when we met he asked to get back together. Should I?

Nope! Unresolved anger issues is a huge red flag in relationships. As pointed out by another user, he just wants to control your life and turn you into the slave of his whims.

Ofc not. For now you might think he will change or that he has changed. And he will always make you day dream about how good he is, or how perfect you guys will be looking once you get back. But trust me, once you get back with him, it will be really hard for you to fix things. Don’t go with him again. When he couldn’t care for you at the first place then stop expecting that will be taking care for your now.

Ideally, you shouldn’t because he abused you and can abuse you again in the future because he clearly didn’t respect you in the first place.
However, if your gut says to give him a chance and see that his anger issues has gone or still stays you can try but then don’t blame him completely for coming back into a relationship because you said YES to it. If anything happens the same way and your emotions and feeling make you come back, TAKE IT ON YOU that you wanted this to happen. ✨🌈
