If he is ignoring simple texts like these, then i don’t think he is right for making u mentally wait for something that might or might not happen… before you get tooooo emotionally invested, Leave! U are awesome and you don’t deserve to get ghosted by someone who claims to love you. If this is a one time thing then he may have his reasons. But if he is continuously showing u clearly that he is weak in front of his parents, you are better off not being with that person. There may come a time that in case you are married to him and time comes for him to stand up and support u in front of his parents, he won’t do it. Confront him and take the ultimatum
