“Looks change but personality doesn’t”.
This statement is the biggest lie humanity propagates.
It takes years and years of aging or a drastic accident to significantly alter how you look.
On the other hand, your personality, attitude and general mindset and constantly changing.
You can’t change a controlling person, narcissistic, someone with anger issues, someone who was never taught to help with things, always dominating. This sentence is mostly used while choosing a partner when people consider looks over everything while thinking they can change a person. Domestic violence and murder happens for this mindset of change. Sorry for making it horrible for you but that what it actually means
It isnt. Everyone can be disciplined, everyone can be taught and everyone can be traumatized. Our experiences change our personality. Personality isnt permanent. I dont know why you have trouble admitting it, or why you are just considering the dating aspect of it, but I can say you are being extremely delusional if you say a persons experiences dont affect his personality

Not just personality, everything changes every time… What doesn’t change seizes to live.
A persons conscience never changes. But people hardly think of conscience when looking for a partner, because everyone is expected to have it.

I think the line refers to one’s primal side. If you are angry person, you’ll be battling to let go. If you are a nice person who people take advantage of, you will be struggling again.
