Looking for some advice.
I got a job offer and they want me to join a bit early but my current manager is not willing to let me go. I don’t really like the current project anymore as dev phase has completed and it’s lot of support and tool work which doesn’t help my growth.
Everytime I ask my manager for early release, he gives some kind of advice which I don’t ask for and tells me to think and will discuss later. I’m not sure how can I progress further and ask him to help me.

Do you have any leaves pending from the company ? If so , please apply for emergency leave till your notice period is over. Or
Another way of doing it is delay your tasks, start showing laid back approach.
