yes you should try your best and confess him , and if he says no then also you can try if you think it can change his feelings, and just try which you will if you really love him , but at one time you will realise yourself that you can’t do anything about it and then you will yourself stop showing that love , you just can’t force yourself to stop , you will automatically move on from this but it will take time it had happened with me and i am also trying to move on
