Failure

I hate being sensitive….a little too sensitive. It makes me a cold hearted . Sounds like I am insane?? Maybe I am. I am sensitive in ways I can’t explain exactly. It crushes my heart to see people in pain. I am always crying thinking of everyone’s pain, including mine. However, when someone tells me of their pain in real life or when I am in pain , I suddenly turn cold. It might be my overthinking if you think that’s the problem. You might be right. However, could someone explain to me how do I stop this constant chatter in my head? How do I let go? How do I attach myself without the hurt? Okay, I may be a little off topic here. I was just explaining how too sensitive I am. I tend to think from all people’s point of view. I don’t want to hurt anyone. I don’t know if that makes me a people pleaser because I also love saying ‘no’ to people. Although that might be so that I don’t get too close to anyone. Uggh… I shouldn’t be blurting all my random mixed up & fucked up thoughts here. I should keep it to myself. I don’t if anyone related but I am sorry if you did. I didn’t mean for you to feel called out.

Frustration

I have been having bad grades for a while now, just as I was getting ready to have a good school year my summer classes grades were horrible. And that just killed all my enthusiasm and drained my happy and confident emotions. It's always hard to stand back up after you get punched to the ground by reality.

Recently my friend introduced me to her childhood friend. We talked for a few months but it was just casual talks then we started to get more close and now I think I kinda developed a small crush for him. I don't know if it's really a crush since I have zero dating experience or love interests? I've mainly focused on my studies (I'm currently 19) also I'm asexual and I'm not quite sure about my romantic orientation. So I don't really know how.. Having a crush feels like?
What I find attractive in him is his personality and voice? .. We both have a lot of similarities.. He's a lot understanding and sweet. Whenever he compliments me I kinda feel all flustered?   But I kinda get all blushy whenever someone compliments me.
Appearance wise he isn't like my ideal type  but personality wise he is?
I don't really know if this is how we feel towards our crushes?
I think it would be quite helpful if I know what romantic attraction is because  I always tend to get both  platonic and romantic attraction confused?
