Three years ago, me and my family were coming back to home through a train. The train was very crowded. An old man touched me innappropriately, but I didn’t responded thinking that it was my missconception. He again touched me and that time i was sure that something was wrong about him. Third time,he did the same. Being a 12 yr girl I just slapped him and he was like, why did u slapped me,what did i do? Even knowing what he did. But u know the heart breaking thing was that, my own aunt told me to shut up my mouth. At that time, i should have been encouraged and praised for showing bravery but i was crying all the way long. My aunt told everyone that she didnt got a seat that’s y she is crying…till now this no one knows except me and aunt…And it is somewhere inside hurting me badly…I m sharing this becuase i want everyone want to know that keeping quiet is not the solution…fight for it.

I was 10 year old when i was sexually assaulted by a 17 or 18 year old boy whom i use to call brother. Our mother where best of friends and neighbours. One day the naive 10 year old me saw him coming and excitedly ask if i could water from his fridge as it was summer, i was playing, i was and tired and we do not have fridge. He told me to follow him to his house and i did because i was fan of cold water as soon as i enter he said he will get changed and i should take water by myself. I went to kitchen took water and turned back to see him partially naked. He was just wearing a shirt i could see everything. I tried to run he grabbed me. He said he will tell me a story come to bed. I tried to free myself but he was adamant not let me go. Before it could escalate to rape i warned him that i will cry out loud if he didnt let me go. He did let me go. I ran fast as i could. I sat outside my house and cried my heart out and went home like nothing happened. It took me a year or 2 to tell this to my mother. That boy mom told my mom something and said she is just a kid she is making that up she has seen in tv. Mom agreed to it. I know now may be she was saving me from the badnaami. But back then i didnt knew and i hated it. Iam 29 now and i have 5 month old daughter and a loving husband whom i dated for 5 years and best friends for 2 years before tying the knot. But the incident has affected me a lot. I was bullied at school for short height and i had quite shitty relationships. Few years ago my dad died he was he really nice person but he never allowed me to work but iam fine with it. But i find myself fighting with my husband on silly things. He never fights back. He knows everything what i have been through. I have everything a good ending i guess but iam far away from my mental peace. I just want meet my assaulter slap him hard and ask him why he did this to me. You are a father of two daughters what if same thing happened to your daughter. Do you remember what you did to me. You basically ruined my childhood which iam carrying though my adulthood. Ask me for forgiveness and i wont give you one

Ok I'm just posting this just coz I wanna say that no one is safe not men women even not animals this sexual assault is fking bad .it impacts the life of the victim so badly and if it happened in ur childhood then for the starting years it's like nothing happened but as u grow and get the knowledge of the things and all stuffs it starts breaking u from in .

when I was 5 or 6 years old I was sexually assaulted by my cousin brother it left me with a lot of trauma I did confess to my parents after 15 years but they dint believe me and said boys are like that maybe they dint do it wantedly and my father believed him over me it fuckes me up every time my parents talk to him or help him and he still behaves like a fucking pervert around me I avoid situations where I can meet them but it so traumatizing it ruined my life forever about the choices I make with men or my love life, low self-esteem, extreme anxiety it ruined my childhood for me i was not safe at my own house i felt like sharing this today because my dad was helping him to get a match to get married i questioned him after everything you are helping him he gaslighted me saying I'm the bad person and I lie because why would someone remember things when they are 6 years old??? and I have to stay out of it because he has good nature to help others and I don't. sometimes I feel like the only person we go to comfort is our parents but when they fuckup I guess it's just you alone with yourself.
