Try reading about side effects of porn more (especially the dopamine addiction part). It helps. I got rid of my addiction. Here’s how I did it.
1.Read about porn side effects.
2. Didn’t do it for one day (the urge to masturbate is high when alone, so did some exercise , playing outside )
3. Blocked porn sites on my device.
4. Keep following 2nd point , everytime I had urge to watch porn i simply distracted myself , went out and take a break. (Going out works well tbh , coz you don’t watch porn in public ).
Trust me , after one month of following the schedule , I started feeling much much better cause my hormone cycle was being restructured in a healthy way. Also keep in mind, you need to replace porn with something, if you sit idle you would wanna go back to porn . So go outside,play, paint, read, write (anything you like except porn) . All the best . Wish to see you on the other side of addiction, more happy and healthy .

Three things , all necessary
1. Block the sites. Plus honestly read more about disasters of porn addiction (articles, personal experiences , anything that negatively motivates you to watch porn will do) ,it serves as a motivation against unblocking those sites and have a go at them. (If you like one of them, watch it again and again as a reminder)
2. Watch anything else, anything that interests you u which isn’t porn. It could be podcasts about getting rid of porn. Standup comedy (good laughter helps a lot ). Trust me , only the first 6-7 nights are difficult . After that you yourself would take interest .
3. Exercise , play an outdoor sport or do some gymming, if you’re physically exhausted during day , you don’t feel like doing porn at the night.
Should I tell you the benefits of getting rid of porn : 1.good sleep cycle, 2. healthy dopamine release cycle (which helps in curing and preventing depression), 3. healthy body (cause you exercise ), more time and energy in your hands 4. Better relationships and deeper connections (yes it does help in improving relationship with others and yourself cause it improves mood ) 6. You feel less rattled or angry , gain better control on emotions and thus better control on other aspects of your life.
After working on my porn addiction , I have gained weight and got a healthy body (I was skinny earlier). People compliment me everytime they see me now. You can see getting rid of porn improves a lot of things about your life.
