Is my mom ashamed of me? She does not even like my company.. Whenever I tell her to spend some time with me she denys.. When I tell her go out with me she shouts at me Or say don't u have friends/go with someone else I don't have time.. She doesn't have time for me .. She is always busy in useless stuffs.. Or I can say sometimes I feel she is selfish.. She only come to me when she has to backbitch about someone or to gain sympathy

Sometimes when I forget that my mom is this way I feel the urge to tell her about my day and how I'm doing until I remember how she really is. It feels like being hungry while eating

I have mom issues…have been living with my mom for 36 years…we cant stay away nor stay together…she is a narcissist…its her way or the highway…my self respect is wounded and I am dying a hundred deaths…she has literally embarrassed me a zillions times…she is very helpful ,but later talks about it…she is now a part of me which I can never ignore…I cant stay away now as she is old and I will feel guilty about it…what should I be doing…

i feel like my mom doesnt care for me and my siblings because we constantly starve she lies about not having money for food but she always buys two packs of cigarettes everyday making us starve. i recently came home from school in a different city and she never calls to ask how i am or how things been so thats why i feel like she dont care for me i have more stories to tell but

hey this is my first time using this platform but i rlly need advice
i dont hv the best relationship with my mom, but we love each others. she is a perfectionist and want the best for me, but she also has anger issues. she gets hella mad rlly easily at nothing. we've been going thru tough times, and as an only child, she gtends to take out the anger verbally, which i learned to not care about. i mean, how else can she express herself. 
but today was much more.
she doenst usually hits me, but sometimes she doies. most of the time its juts a slap, but today i was being stubborn, and i didnt want to back down from the argument. u can guess where this went. but its not THAT serious. i mean its just a few more slaps. but idk what to do. i mean, she expects me to be perfect, and i have no one to help me tell her that its impossible. sometimes i dont even want to continue living, cz i have no motivations. nothiung keeping me in line. i have so many moral values that i let go bcz i dont care at this point.

It took me so long to repair my relationship with my
For me accept that my mom doesn't like that I do belly dancing, that she doesn't see my videos or come to my performances 
Today she called and told she found a guy and I actually was looking forward to talking to him she asked me not mention that I have learnt belly dance..
And tell him that I used to do it and I won't do it anymore. This is just unfair... I feel like she spoilt my whole year coz I'm going to have to recover from this for the rest of the year now 

Adulting

The only person I used to talk with was my father, after he passed away it's really hard for me to communicate with my mother, eventhough I try my best to not turn the communication into argument, she does it anyway. It's so exhausted living like this, she just wants to control what I do, how I do. I know it is hard for her after my father but it isn't easy for me either, compromise can be done from both the sides, can't it now?
