Although most men aren’t trustworthy, but there’s a slight chance that his wife might’ve had serious trust issues, due to which he had to hide a simple gift, because that one thing might create a huge ruckus eventually.
Given that, still a sus behaviour, and MEN AREN’T REALLY TRUSTWORTHY. This all eventually comes down to how well you know the guy, and how likely would he turn out to be a sleaze?
