I’m so done with my dad he thinks he’s so funny but he isn’t at all and his immature comments are starting to get on my nerves. Lately he’s been acting like he hates me, he won’t stop making fun of me and speaking contemptuously to me. I don’t know what i’ve done for him to act this way all of the sudden, sometimes i wonder if he even loves me cuz the way he talk to me isn’t the way you talk to someone you’re fond of. My brother can do anything and get away with it, apparently there’s nothing ever wrong with him and he does everything well while i do everything wrong and i’m horrible and a failure, that’s what he says which is kind of ironic cuz objectively anyone would say i’ve been a better child.

oh and about my mom, she knows about this situation and has tried to talk to my dad to my parents are still living together but they don’t get along very well.

The age you too are is at the extreme ok …u r in your teenage years where you won’t agree upon anything and ur father is at an age where he stays firm in whatever he says is right…so reasoning won’t help u need a third person to be involved in this…Ur mom would be great to talk out and solve it out…it’s not a big problem though …can be talked out and solved dude…u just need to involve your mom (basically a 3rd person view in it) that’s all…

She should be there when the scene is going on …because if she goes and tells him that he is wrong (even though he may be ) he starts hating her… that’s what happens

I don’t think any of this has to do with me being a teenager, im right and he’s wrong in what he’s doing, completely wrong. You might not get it since i don’t wanna get into details about what he does and says but it’s totally on him to fix it. My mom does get involved, she agrees with me in that he’s wrong so that also proves that it’s not just me taking things a certain way my mom supports me and agrees with me.
