I’m really stressed abt my career & job, and in a relationship since 6months… My male bestfriend advised me to end it with her… a month ago… . Apparently she’s been thru a lot all her childhood and situation now isn’t any better. I belong from a middle class family and financial conditions in my house are fucked up to. We have an age gap of 4.5yrs & I’m the older one. She really loves me but her expectations abt reassurance, respect and all are really high… I don’t have the courage to break up over call even though I know she loves me a lot, but I can’t keep living for her… Should I just breakup on texts?

Idk I feel like I’m living for her… she really is trying her best too, but I feel like I’ve devalued myself in my own eyes. Please don’t do it through a text. Talk to them, face them and tell them that it is not working out. It’s not a crime to break up, but I think your gf deserves an explanation why you want to break up this relationship since you both shared a part of your life with each other.
