Ur parents should accept him later u can’t tell my parents are saying no and all.

Approach him and talk about this - what worse will happen? Will your friendship break? It will be broken anyways as you want to be at a distance from him once he gets married or he will not give any time to you. The bond is less likely to be active. So there is this one path where you guys can be together if discussed properly
