They should understand. If they don’t, try to make them understand. It’s not like you had a choice, it’s who you are, and you gotta live with it. If they can’t accept it, they probably were never your best friends to begin with.

If they don’t understand then maybe those arent the kind of friends u want around. Let them take their time to get comfortable with that fact. But not accepting totally means it’s just not worth it
