I’m feeling down.
After 7 years of a mysterious illness, I learned I was highly anemic. (At the worst of it I could hardly walk across the room)
While feeling unwell, I worked the entire time, provided for my family of 5, and I was the lady head of the household…
3 Weeks ago I had minor surgery to correct the anemia issue.
By the next day I felt like a brand new person! 🤩
The doctor called me a week and a half later… they found cancer. 😭😫
The irony- I was unwell for years and I could hardly function while I worked and supported the family.
Right after feeling better from surgery, I felt physically HEALTHY AGAIN, and bam, CANCER….
I’m disappointed because I finally feel better and now I have life altering news… 😭😭😭
I’m the type of person who usually knows what to do…
Right now I feel lost, and just sad.
I’m usually the strong person people come to for support, but honestly most people I know are barely hanging on…. I don’t want to burden my kids, my friends or family…
I will put one foot in front of the other. I’m sad all of this is happening now…

Hey “January” if it’s your name, your life makes me remember of one of the greatest minds ever Steve jobs he was diagnosed and died with pancreatic cancer while he had a lot to do for his family and be there for his kids. And you’re just diagnosed and I wish it’s not a fatal stage. And if there are chances of your survival I would just say just hang in there. It is harder than you can take but soon you’ll get better and stronger too, one day you’ll not only supporting your family but maybe community. You’ll see some good things here that people for whom you live will live for you and be there for you. I personally have a bitter taste of recurring illness in my life and thoughts of taking my own life was there many times because I wanted to do too much in life but I was bed ridden that phase of illness took a part of me. But that’s what life is god sent us with everything on this planet. Then he start taking all that one by one but we keep fighting until the time comes we surrender everything to God back. I know this is not your time to surrender so just keep up and you’ll be better soon. I’ll pray for you.
