I’m a single mom staying along with my parents. I’m very conscious and careful about my kid’s health and often teased about it. Recently my kid fell sick and as usual I was supposed to take him to the doctor instead I stayed back and used some stupid tips which resulted to his mouth ulcer. He is not able to sleep in the night since past 2 days. My boy is just 3 and now I’m scared that I’m not a good parent. I regret many such simple decisions where I tried to take suggestions from someone else instead of following my instincts.
It’s getting harder now. People are taunting me that being a single mom is the worst decision instead I should go back to my abusive husband. IT SUCKSS!!!
Everyone falls sick. Ups and downs are part of life.

Hi, I really respect coming out from toxic relationship and you being a single parent is not an easy thing. By being strong you did it. It’s ok mistakes happen just be strong and believe in yourself that you are a good parent and follow your instincts. Just don’t care about what others say. It’s ok being careful about your kid and don’t let others words effect you. It is only leading you to other problems. I belive that your kid heal from mouth ulcer soon. Take care. Be strong.

Nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes. When it comes to kids parents are protective no matter single or together. What you did was not deliberate act but out of misjudgement. You should be careful with health tips and follow / consult doctor no matter what.
