im a 14 year old girl. i was in gym class for my first semester. we had to record our pulse for something. i tried to but i couldn’t find my pulse, and i told my gym teacher (an older guy, who’s kinda creepy tbh) that i couldn’t find it so i wouldn’t be able to write it down. he then, without warning, grabbed my throat. it was really awkward and i was super uncomfortable. i already have ptsd from being abused in my past. but everyone just stared at what was happening. after holding my neck in a sorta “choke” way, he then he told me that he couldn’t find my pulse. i didn’t really think much of it. but i’ve told a few of my friends about it and they act surprised. they say it could be considered sexual assault. especially since he used to always stare at me and hang out with me during gym class when we did independent stuff. i don’t really think it could be considered sexual assault. but many people have told me that it could be. i just wanna hear other people’s thoughts i guess.
firstly, i’m sorry this teacher has made you feel uncomfortable in his actions, from what you’ve decided i definitely think it’s worth going to an adult you trust and telling them. as a teen myself, i think that’s what i would do. grabbing your throat, without even warning/asking if it was okay, just isn’t right, appropriate or allowed. the question of it being sexual assault or not, if i’m completely honest, i don’t know what i think about that. but i DO think it was completely inappropriate on his part and whilst i know it will be scary, i think telling someone is the best thing so you won’t have to feel uncomfortable around him again. again, i am sorry this is happening and i’m here to talk again if you need!

Acually i think thats just normal. Its not good to touch a girl without warning but i dont think he meant something like that. Do you guys have a big age difference? If it is you must just let him know that you respect him as a an adult and nothing more. Try not to hang around with him alone. If he is a young guy then it maybe sometimes he likes you. Does he flirt? In my opinion i think you should just avoid him if you think he is not a good person. You know what most of the male tchers are like that. Even in my scl there are tchers who does those kind of things to us. But i keep maintaing them perfectly. Doesnt avoid him that much coz then he reduce our marks in exam. Lol. So its like i control him as i want. Never ever let anyone touch you though. Stay safe. ;)
