If you can't  love yourself, how do you expect to give love to people you love the most.?

It's weird that I can show love to other people and Hate myself at the same time. I wanna love myself but I really can't and I'm trying.

I can't seem to love myself because i am aware that i am a terrible person in the inside... Its also difficult to change knowing that deep inside i will never be the person i wanted to be..

What's actual meaning of "love yourself " like I'm confused i always want to stay with the one I love . I love him and I think I'll be always happy with him I'm able to love myself and know myself more when I'm with him but now he's gone , I am not able to focus on my studies on my body care on my health, I have totally surrendered my happiness to him . Lol what should I do now I know he won't come back I'm not able to accept it . I feel I'll never be happy again without him. People say love yourself first.?.but it's not possible for me anyone who can give me tips , hacks and motivation and knowledge please.  It'll be really really helpful.  Man please
