If you are an ally, you have to come out. You can’t be a closeted ally. If someone is being victimised for being who they are, you as an ally and a human being need to stand up for them. It is illegal to discriminate against someone who isn’t Hetero cis. It is as much a hate crime as someone tearing down a religious monument.

What is up with people giving more preference to monuments and not the people whose blood, sweat and tears that goes into making them? Are we saying these buildings, man made things are more privy to our concern than the solidarity and brotherhood they preach? smh
