I work at an MNC and one of my colleagues is rich and very pretty. She wears new clothes almost everyday and everybody is in awe of her. They appreciate her makeup and dress style. While when I dress-up or make an extra effort on my appearance, nobody seems to take notice. I know I sound petty and shallow but I do feel jealous sometimes and I don’t know what to do

It’s ok to feel a little envious of others. You are who you are and that’s ok. If you feel like you want to improve your own personal style, that should be a personal journey for you. You can hire a uni student who could help you. You could invest in some style staples and mix it up every now and then. YouTube tutorials have a lot of info. Nobody is born with anything. You can change and improve.

I feel you. How about we put a spin on this? Jealousy usually means the other person has something that we dont. But we forget, the world is not a competition. We dont have to measure ourselves upto their ways of being. The ability that they have is also possible for us. We can take inspiration from them and put our own creative spin on it.:)

Let others know your importance through your hard work, and trust me there is no other feeling better than being known and appreciated for your qualities rather than your external appearance. :)

Hey! Plz don’t worry about this. Every person is beautiful in its own ways. She is pretty and rich, but II’m sure you would also be good at something or other. I feel for growth the person should compete with self only instead of others. Don’t get jealous over these things because these things hardly matter for some years, but at last your work ,ypur good deeds only that matter.
