I was playing Tom Clancy’s Cruelty Squad the other day, and I noticed something interesting. There’s this one line, from a npc in a certain mission that reads-
“When this beat drops I’m going to f–king k-ll myself.”
As soon as I saw that, I though, “yeah, I can get where this game is coming from.” This quote has been so infamous that I’m pretty sure some guy made a video about it. And at first, you would just dismiss it as your basic edgy lines, but I think it goes deeper than that. These lines are somewhat of a meta-commentary on life in itself. At that moment, I actually, deeply thought if this guy was right. When this metaphorical beat drops, should I do the deed, cut the ties? It was- and still is, a debate within myself.

It’s okay if that phrase means you stop doing everything without color and pick up new things such as spend time in nature, spend time with your love one more frequently or find something or someone that you could do thing you like and share thought
It’s not okay if that phrase means you want to stop living and breathing cuz after rains there will rainbow or double rainbows even better
