I was just wondering what actually is romance ? Not just for me , but generally.I mean why do human beings find some things and gestures romantic ?Who defines what is romantic ?Is it conditioning just from the movies ?Like if a guy gives me flowers, why is it considered romantic ?Why are people thinking of continuing such gestures after marriage to save the spark in their marriage ?What is it about those flowers that the girl wants ? Or what is it about romance that the guy wants ? And Why? Why is normal living boring ?
Excitement and adventure that keep human life interesting and no one wanna do mundane thing so yeah it is also a escapism too

Romance is something that every heart craves for. We humans need a spark that makes our life exciting. Oxytocin is responsible for the lovey dovey feeling and it is generated automatically when anything associated with love happens.
From my interpretation It’s not the flowers that’s romantic, it’s the effort. There’s nothing too deep about it, flowers are just used to show love and affection
