I want to tell my orthodox Indian parents that I will only marry the guy I love. No matter the differences. I want to tell them that I cannot forget him. I want to tell them that its only him and no one else. I want to tell them not to make me feel guilty. I want them to let me live my life. I want them to not use their power to hold me down.
I am scared. I am weak. It is true that I love them. But I am not selfish to want to live my life. I want to make them understand that
If the person really loves you tell him to come at your home asking for ur hand & marry him.
but before that understand what ur parents are looking for qualities in ur partner ask ur bf to accomplish those requirements and take u with him.
if he really loves you he could do anything for you.
if not then u can better decide.
