Funny how my girlfriend is telling me that her ex boyfriend dont love her, dont have any care for her and hurting her physically. While i did the opposite showing and telling her everyday how much i love her and planning to marry her soon. But i think she adapted her ex boyfriend’s attitude in a relationship. Getting tired to understand her. Any thoughts?? Dont know what to do

We didnt talk for months and now due my internship and college work 
We are again becoming really good friends and we share a great bond again 
But at the end of day it hits me that the one for  whom i care for,love her would not be mine anyhow 
Should i keep the friendship as its affecting me or should i go on with whats happening

So my ex bsf who left me without giving any reason has suddenly appeared in my life again. 
Ofc this time the interaction is not same coz ik how it had affected my mental health, I was really traumatized a month ago coz I was left all alone and as now I'm enjoying my own company she is with me again, but she didn't even give me any explaination as to why she left me ....
A part of me wants to talk to her and enjoy her company but bro ekhad explaination toh me bhi desrve karti hu na?
Should I talk to her? Or is not worth it ..
This time I don't wanna compromise my mental peace....
I'm really confused

The situation is very fucked up with me and my ex girlfriend. 
We were very great together and neither of us did anything that hurt anyone of us. After 2 months of being in a relationship i started overthinking and i felt as if i dont like her so it was a very prompt decision of mine that i broke up with her but later i realised that i was just protecting myself from loving her so i convinced her to come back and she did. It was going smooth and suddenly her parents got to know about us and we had to break up even though thats not what we wanted, we both are head over heels in love with each other. A few days past by and i made out with someone else and she got to know about it. I made out with someone else thinking that it will me move on. I have apologised to her as much i could and she knows that i regret what i did. 
Now the situation is she loves me but she doesn’t want me and i am pretending to act strong and as if I don’t care but deep down i am literally crazy for her. 
Is there any chance that things can be better between us, i want to be a better person for her thats why i am focusing on myself rn and if there are chances that we can get back then can you guide me how?
