i think the concept of family coming first is so wrong. in my opinion, family is overrated and not every single member is real “family”

Shitty.
I did not go to meet my cousins because I have grown a beard and my relatives comment on it expecting me to look proper when I dont want to chop my beard off.

Unfortunately I had to to pick my mother up and one of them came to see my mom off and he came and only said everything is okay but the beard is so, why?

I have had a history of mental ilnesses and all those shitty feelings resurface when someone comments about me or to me about the things I choose to be.
I have gotten over my anger issues and bi polar through constant work, dedication and meditation.

It is worth reacting angrily over a comment thats made time and over again targeted at you, your looks or mismanaged aesthetics?

Feels like my family doesn't consider me as someone important or to be missed.

What should I do to cheer up myself when someone especially my family teases me about my salary infront of others? I myself know that what I earn is low but as a fresher this is a best choice which I can get in my field  during this time and I enjoy my job. But hearing all those words makes me feel bad and sometimes makes me feel worthless.When I got my first salary I bought some gifts for them and the told me that they love it. But now infront of everyone they are making fun of me , my gifts and how low is my salary. During first 2-3 incidents I reacted and told me that this makes me feel bad ,even after that they are still continuing and also started to make fun of how I reacted in early situations.
