I seek attention from people around me by trying to be the β€˜it’ person. I try to look interesting and fun to be around with. I don’t like it when I get that attention I wanted. I feel like a victim when I get the attention. I feel unsafe and unsecured and misunderstood. I usually succeed in getting the attention I wanted and I just end up feeling like I am not enough. I want things so crazy to happen to me to get the attention I have always wanted from my parents.

I get you. U want the attention but once you get it it feels like you have cheated your way through the attention. Do some inner child work to help you stop feeling this way
