I recently realized I may be aromantic asexual. For those who don’t know, it means that I don’t feel any romantic or sexual attraction towards anyway. I don’t want to be alone, but the thought of kissing or holding hands with man makes me feel nauseous. But… I don’t feel the same around girls? I think I wouldn’t mind being close to a girl… and I’m just so confused :<
Hey bestie! you are not alone here there are many people like you still exploring their sexuality and it took a lot of courage to come out and I am proud of you for that.

Hey! I’m proud of you! I know exactly what you mean about that nauseous feeling towards men. Personally, I’m not aromantic nor am I fully ace. I still have romantic attraction to all genders (though I have a strong preference towards girls and enbies and basically any gender that’s not male) but the thought of actually having intimate or sexual relationships with men feels like thousands of spiders crawling under my skin. I can not imagine receiving a single second of enjoyment from an experience like that. It makes me shudder and I get that nauseous feeling you mentioned.
You might be grey-ace or aroace with a slight bit of bi? After all, asexuality is a spectrum. Even ace people can still experience some slight sexual attraction and still be ace. There is no right way to be ace. If you feel that the aroace label fits your experience, then that’s who you are. Everyone experiences sexuality different. And if you’re still not positive that the aroace label completely fits, there’s no rush to figure it out. It’s not a race. Take it slow. It’s better to go slow and be sure you find a label that feels right, than to rush and keep an identity that doesn’t quite fit because you feel obligated to figure it out right now. And if you ever have any questions, just send me a connection request. I’d be happy to help you figure yourself out.
Once again, I’m proud of you for being brave enough to explore who you are. You are you. There is nothing wrong with you. Remember that. 😊

Oh my gosh… That is literally the sweetest thing I ever heard, and you literally made me feel so much better TT <3 Thank you so much! And thank you for standing up for me in that comment, I laughed at it but it was a bit painful to see this kind of people here anyway :<

And yeah, I’m definitely going to use your advice, I guess I just needed to hear that it’s okay to take your time with these things <3
