I really need to talk to someone about my relationship.
I don’t know if I should date this guy or not I mean I’m happy with him but at the same time I can’t let go of the mistakes he has made in the past

So basically there was this guy I was talking to we kissed and everything what I didn’t know is he was still with his ex. after a while I got to know about it. He accepted it apologized and is trying everything he can to be a better person but I still can’t trust him. He gives me all the security but I still can’t trust him. His past is stull haunting me . It’s been 2 years almost and we’re in a relationship. Somedays it’s easy but somedays I feel very insecure and jealous and I hate him and I hate myself. But he’s trying very hard to change it. Should I still date him?

Have you discussed all these things with him? He should know what you are going through and why you aren’t able to trust him.
2 years are enough I believe to trust someone and be ahead of what happened. The reason you aren’t able to be is that you still feel what if he goes back again to his ex and what will happen to you, right?
Talk to him, share your feelings, he will comfort you. Give it a try and then only you can see if he has actually changed or was it his words only.

Yeah I’ve talked to him but nothing seems to comfort me.

Okay.
Try breaking up (not the one forever but for your own space so that you figure out things) with him for some time and see do you actually feel like going back to him or will you be able to handle yourself.
Your individual time will give you time to think about everything.
