I need to end my addiction to weed. I roll a joint everyday (sometimes 2-3 times) and it’s really affecting me. I am always shut in my room, i have no personal life. I have no friends. I am so alone. I tried to go to rehab but it is so expensive and I cant tell my parents that i need help. what do i do

You’re lonely bro, you probably talk to yourself, keep yourself busy buddy, that’s the best way to go don’t tell your parents, bad idea they probably think you’re very lonely. That’s the root of this talking to yourself, I bet you love talking to yourself ;) listen to that Buddha inside you. You’re on the right path you just need a purpose in life, that you can die for or at least give up your laziness. You’re on the right path.

Please talk to parents :) All the best

First things first. It is primarily the ritual not just the substance. So an alternative would be vaping with weed oil. And then cutting it off slowly. Going off weed cold turkey does not work and it will probably kill you. Reduce the number of joints you smoke and roll daily till you’re down to like half and transition to a vape post that. You don’t have to go to a rehab, you could go to a general physician who could recommend vitamin supplements that you need while quitting. Because most rehab centres make you quit cold turkey and prescribe you to oral vitamin supplements. If you feel like you can monitor your own vitamin supplements and control your craving, a general physician can help you.

i know exactly how you feel. i relate to this on a spiritual level. other than weed, i smoke about 6-7 cigs on a daily basis and it’s really affected me. at this point i can’t go a single day without cigs. this is probably the last thing you want to hear but telling your parents and the best way to go about it. worst case scenario, they’ll yell at you, ground you or something but obviously it won’t last. this problem you’re dealing with won’t last either once you get help from your parents :)

I swear to god. I relate to this on another level. Dude. Hang in there. But you know it’s better if you tell your parents about it so that they can support you and help you get the right rehab and help and everything.

Please get help. Tell your parents. I understand what you are saying but it’s necessary to get professional help for this. Please do that asap.

Firstly, you’re strong. Leave that old habit of feeling sorry for yourself and try to stop succumbing to it. Build yourself up again. You can. You’re not alone, I’m sure someone’s praying for your best somewhere. Your parents have high hopes and you’re onto a good career. Keep a positive person around. Support systems help hun. Try talking to new people - try new stuff. It’s still possible to come out of it.
Take care.
