Yu @yuyuyu
I need a serious opinion about my situation.
I’m going to a university in my countries capital at a prestigious university but not in the major I want this major has plenty job opportunities too. it’s been 2 weeks since the lessons started but I really want to go after my dream major but there is only one university which has it and it’s in a city with absolutely nothing there’s probably 1 cafe and 1 university with lots of old ppl and I know there isn’t even a single mall or even a cinema everyone’s gonna look at me weird when I wear a skirt or put on make up but it’s just gonna be 4 years of suffering and I’ll be happy going to class everyday studying and eventually I’ll graduate but should I really be wasting my eighteens in such a place? also going back to my home city will be hard from there too here it’s only a hour with train and I’ll probably get depressed from not having friends or have anything to do idk pls give an advice

Nobody said it’ll be easy.
Yu @yuyuyu
what? my major rn isn’t hard it’s just not what I want pls read before commenting

I never mentioned major. I was referring to the external factors. There are going to be Unkown factors which you’ll have to tackle. These are mere hurdles in your path to achieve your end goal. You’ve to make that decision yourself whether or not you want to make that sacrifice
Yu @yuyuyu
well I can’t so I’m asking what yall think
anonymous @b0unty_twin
Never rely on people to make your decisions. It’s not like you’re going to go with the advice people are going to give you here. In the end you’ll have to make a decision. People are going out of their way to achieve things if that’s what you want then you already know the answer
Yu @yuyuyu
I’m not asking you what you think about me asking advice from other people I’m asking you to give an advice on my situation and if you won’t then don’t answer
anonymous @b0unty_twin
My advice is to take on the challenges towards your end goal
Yu @yuyuyu
the whole point is that I can’t tell my end goal
anonymous @b0unty_twin
For now your end goal is completing your major. One thing at a time
Yu @yuyuyu
no it’s not its whether I’ll choose my major or the other major
anonymous @b0unty_twin
I mean yes after you’ve decided. Either way it’s one or the other
Yu @yuyuyu
Dear Sherlock, the whole point is that I can’t decide and since there are 2 options obviously it’s going to be one or the other
Do what you have already started…if time is not the limit…and after graduating you don’t feel good about it…then re-start…or do some courses for what you wish to do…
Yu @yuyuyu
I don’t think I can re-start bc I everyone’s now choosing what I want and it’s entrance is getting harder
Ebisnow21 @snowflakes21
Don’t think about what you face now. It’s just a simple inconvenience do what you love or you will regret it , as you said the course you like to take has lot of job opportunities so it okay to suffer a little and get what you like, it would worth in the end

Stick to The university and not the major
