Thought

I lost my wife 6 years ago to cancer. There doesn’t go a single day when I don’t miss her or don’t think about her. I used to think i will get over it and i will forget her and live my life. But i am not able to. It’s tough.

You have lived some of your best moments with her. You can never forget her but you can slowly try and move on and experience new things in life :)

i dont think you can ever get over something like that. It eventually becomes a part of you and you learn to let it be a part of you without it impairing your functioning. I lost my father and I’m telling you it gets better.

You will always miss her but you will learn to live with it. youll find your happiness and strength back itll take time but itll happen. dont lose hope. More strength and power to you!

I am soo sorry for your loss. My suggestion would be to not try to forget her but celebrate her! Keep her essence alive by living all that she taught you.:)
