That girl who stands under the streetlight,
With eyes so bright, and heart so light,
Why do the stars in the sky,
Shine their light on her passing by?

Perhaps it's the way she smiles,
Or the way she walks for miles,
With grace and poise so true,
That captures the stars' adieu.

Or maybe it's her soul,
Pure and kind, with a heart that's whole,
That makes the stars above,
Shower her with their endless love.

Whatever the reason may be,
One thing's clear for all to see,
That girl under the streetlight's glow,
Is loved by the stars, and all below.

The dispute of my mind and heart is vigorously rising like fire in woods. I'm confused with what's happening around my surrounding. My dejection is there are countless people around me but no one to share with the misery of myself.


Conflict

#26..........I was excited for the guest session that was about to be held the next day. But unfortunately I couldn't wake up on time and I missed the guest session. Why ? Because the previous night I was so excited that I forgot to sleep on time. I asked my peers what happened in the guest session but nobody gave me any clear answer as they weren't that interested in the brand. They merely attended the session for the sake of attendance and fear of the placement committee. The very day I got an email from placecom where in my name was amongst those people who didn't attend the guest session and the students who defaulted were called up for a meeting - in business formals at 8pm. It was a rainy day and...Yes, we were standing in the rain wearing business formals listening to the lecture of placecom for a hour straight. I was cold and so pissed off that I didn't even bother to eat my dinner that day. At mid night the application forms for the internship were rolled out and I without even looking properly filled it up only to realise later it's only for marketing students and not finance. Shit. Again I did a mistake, once again I had to face the placecom..........(to be continued)
