I haven’t seen my grandma in a long time and my parents are planning a one day trip to meet her. I want to go but I really don’t wanna eat, everyone in my house is onto me so it’s hard skipping meals until college starts. I miss her but she will feed me like there is no tomorrow and I’ll have to eat. Not like I can throw up there because my cousins will be there too. I just don’t know what to do. Can someone help?

Act like you’re suffering from dehydration and stomach ache … Hope it helps!
of course she offers with food with love and if one day you will eat nothing will happens just because of this lame reason you should not miss meeting her cause you are fortunate enough to have her think of those who don’t have grandparents or either one of them .
sorry if this sounded rude but understand
Thank you I really needed that

Hey…I’ve been there. My advice is, let her give you some food, eat some of it, then say you’re full. Knowing grandmas, it’s probably gonna be way more than even a non-disordered person could finish, so it won’t seem unrealistic. Afterwards if you’re really worried, you can always take a run or walk around the block or do some indoor exercises. It balances out eventually.
