I have noticing lately that a lot of my unconscious body issues are surfacing. A lot of the times i daydream about a time when i would be confident, be all “glowed up”. I feel like i think i need to look a certain way, present myself ina certain way in order to be taken seriously and be relevant. I am not sure how to go about this. I would like to know more why these and how these “needs” emerge or how to go about them.

Just know that the notion of perfection that you have in your mind has been created by YOU. If you accept your flaws and do away with conventional beauty standards, your perception will change. Confidence comes from within. The only validation you need is your own. Remind yourself everyday about how awesome you are and these thoughts will wipe out automatically :)
You would always be trying to become a better version of yourself, when you’re all “glowed up” but that doesn’t mean you don’t love your current self. That’s equally very very important, to be comfortable in your own skin right now as well as be a work in progress.

One must never feel the pressure to look a certain way except the way one WANTS to look! We all have diverse bodies and characteristics! We must try to not equate our physical characteristics with attention.
These needs emerge due to a lack of self esteem and comparisons with other people that we view! One must make conscious efforts to regain self confidence in order to refrain from viewing other people as better or superior.
